Still considering letting us use some of your images in my magazine?  There is no one out there like you!  Your images + poetry by various international writers, it would be stunning!  :blackrose:

Your photos are always beautiful, poignant, and very well executed. The fact that you use yourself as model helps... both for the fact that you are very good looking, and because you are able to express your thoughts without having to explain. I find the result stunning! Black Rose  Then your words. At times easier to grasp, but always interesting and stimulating! I am not sure about the words you wrote here, strangely Lenin and the philosophical basis of his actions comes to mind. A heartfelt thanks for sharing your splendid art. small heart - black

I am not sure who is the author of these quote; that's why I haven't wrote it in comment. I do recall a fact that I wrote it down while I was reading papers concerning ideology, culture, society and shift of power and violence, etc. I am 99 percent sure it could be Hannah Arendt - The Origins of Totalitarianism.

This quote is taken out of context, but I find it suiting for this photography and the story within. A subtile, unseen kind of violence and domination - that is the story about this photo. The kind of violence which you are not aware of and you can't even name it or define it as violence because it operates slow and in delicate way.

And, of course, all these words can (are) applicable in contemporary societies. Prey and predator - the same old game..

P.S. I will find the author someday, and let you know. :)

Thank you for the reply. The words fit perfectly your photography, your pose and expression convey the impression of danger. Danger generates fear. Fear is the main tool of totalitarianism. You may find this paper interesting www.marxists.org/reference/arc… it is a bit pedantic, like most university papers, but interesting. :) (Smile)

Yes, I read Althusser's works, about 2-3 years ago, on some of my sociology classes, "Cultural theory" I think. Not that particulary paper, but similar essay (:

Another body-knot and one of your eyes, gazing at the lens of your camera... - and i feel a pull of seduction strong enough to lift me off the ground. Sign me up as happy prey, dear predator.
